SecurityReview is a ServiceVision service. ServiceVision is responsible for the information you give us here. You can reach us at chris@servicevision.net.

When you request a check: your email address, first name, last name, company, the website you asked about, any promo code and the version of the consent text you agreed to.

About the request: the time, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address used only to limit abuse.

About the website: the public information the check reads, described on the How the check works page.

To run the check, send you the results, and follow up about them. You agree to this when you tick the consent box. You can unsubscribe any time.

To prevent abuse, for example limiting how many checks one address can request.

We never sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the service: hosting (Vercel, Render), database (Neon), email delivery (Resend), our customer relationship system (Attio), bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and an AI model (Anthropic Claude) that classifies each confirmed check and helps draft reports that a person reviews. The AI model receives your company name and the public findings about your website. Each only gets what it needs for its job.

If you never confirm your email, we delete your details after 30 days.

Check findings are redacted after 12 months.

The scrambled IP address is cleared after 7 days.

If you become a client, we keep your contact details for as long as we work together.

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email chris@servicevision.net and we will reply within 30 days.

The public site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use privacy-friendly page analytics that do not identify you.
